VENTION PRINTER CABLE – 1.5M (Vention COQBG, USB 2.0 Type-A to Type-B)

The Vention COQBG is a 1.5-metre USB printer cable, Type-A to Type-B, for connecting a printer, a scanner or any other peripheral that still uses the square B-type socket. It runs USB 2.0 at transfer rates up to 480Mbps, which is ample for print jobs, scans and firmware updates. The conductor is tinned copper in a 24 and 28AWG arrangement, shielded with aluminium foil, a metal braid and a ground drain so the data pairs stay clean next to a power strip. The jacket is PVC at 4.5mm outer diameter, the interface is nickel-plated to resist tarnish, and the cable is rated for 2A of current. A one-year brand warranty applies. At 1.5 metres it is sized for the printer that lives on the same desk, on a shelf above the tower, or on a side table within arm's reach. That is the common arrangement in a home office or a small shop counter, where the machine has to be close enough to grab a page from without walking around the room. The shielding and the tinned copper matter in humid conditions, where thin unshielded leads are the usual cause of a printer that keeps dropping out of the device list mid-job.
