The Avision AD120 is a two-in-one document scanner that puts a flatbed and an automatic document feeder in one compact body, so an office can digitise loose stacks and awkward bound or fragile originals on the same machine. It is built for records work: contracts, invoices, admission forms, identity pages and anything else that has to end up as a searchable file rather than a photograph. The feeder holds 50 sheets and scans both sides in a single pass at 25 ppm / 50 ipm in colour or black and white, while the flatbed takes originals up to A4 and Legal size. Optical resolution is 600 x 600 dpi, with interpolation up to 1200 x 1200 dpi for finer detail, and the CIS sensor with its LED light source means no lamp warm-up before the first page. Long Paper Mode scans documents up to 118 in at 300 dpi, the recommended daily volume runs to 3,000 sheets, and it connects over USB 2.0 with USB 3.0 ports supported. That mix suits a small office, a chamber, a clinic or a school administration desk where the day's paperwork is part loose batch and part page that must not go through a feeder. Bundled OCR and PDF software turns scans into text you can search, which is what keeps a digital archive usable months later, and the compact footprint means it can share a desk with the printer instead of demanding a table of its own.
