The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) is a pocket-sized streaming media player that plugs straight into a television's HDMI port and runs Google TV, adding streaming apps, voice search and 4K HDR playback without a set-top box taking up shelf space. It is built on a 6nm quad-core Cortex-A55 chip at 2.5GHz with an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU — around 80% faster on the CPU and 150% faster on graphics than the first-generation stick — paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Output is 4K at 60fps over HDMI 2.1a with Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and audio supports Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 handle connectivity, Google Assistant and Chromecast are built into the Google TV software, and the 360-degree Bluetooth voice remote works from anywhere in the room. The stick measures 106.8×29.4×15.4mm. It is the natural choice for a bedroom or a second television where a box would only add clutter, and the easiest option to carry to a hostel room, an office meeting room or a relative's house — unplug it, pocket it, plug it into the next HDMI port. Because it runs its own apps and receives its own updates, an older television stops depending on the outdated smart platform it shipped with, and Wi-Fi 6 keeps playback steady when several devices are sharing one connection.
