UGREEN NW102 (20162) Cat 6 U/UTP LAN Cable – 5M

The UGREEN NW102 is a Cat6 U/UTP Ethernet patch cable, 5 metres long, for wiring a PC, console, smart TV, NVR or access point back to a router or switch. A wired run of this kind holds a steadier connection than Wi-Fi does over the same distance and through the same walls. It carries Gigabit Ethernet at up to 1000 Mbps with 250 MHz of bandwidth, comfortably ahead of what home and office broadband asks of a cable. A 26 AWG copper-clad aluminium conductor sits inside a round, flexible PVC jacket, and both ends terminate in gold-plated RJ45 connectors that resist corrosion at the contacts. The cable carries a 1 year brand warranty. Five metres is the length that reaches from a router in the hallway to a desk in the next room without pulling tight, which suits flats, small offices and shared houses where the router is never where the computer is. Run it along a skirting board or under a rug and you get a link that stays put in the evening, when every Wi-Fi channel in the building is busy at once.
