The full spec sheet
The TP-Link Archer C54 is an AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi router for small homes and offices, covering everyday browsing, HD streaming and IPTV from a compact, wall-mountable body. It runs 867 Mbps on the 5GHz band and 300 Mbps on 2.4GHz, with 4 external antennas using beamforming to concentrate the signal towards connected devices and MU-MIMO to serve several of them at once. Wired connections use 4 LAN ports and 1 WAN port at 10/100 Mbps. IGMP Proxy and Snooping are included specifically to keep IPTV streams clean, and QoS lets you give priority to the traffic that suffers most when the line is busy — a video call, say, over a background download. A guest network, parental controls and IPv6 support round out the software, and the whole thing is set up from the TP-Link Tether app. It carries a 1 year brand warranty. Multi-Mode is what makes this one flexible: the same unit can run as a router, sit behind an existing one as an Access Point, or work as a Range Extender to reach a room the main router cannot. The wall-mountable body helps in a small flat or a shop, where getting the router off the floor and up near the ceiling does more for coverage than any setting in the app. For a household with IPTV, a few phones and a laptop, it handles the load without fuss.
