The full spec sheet
The TP-Link Archer C80 is an AC1900 dual-band Gigabit router for busy, multi-device homes — the point at which a Wi-Fi 5 router stops being an entry-level box and starts holding up a full house. Combined wireless speed is AC1900: 1300 Mbps on the 5GHz band and 600 Mbps on 2.4GHz. 4 external high-gain antennas with beamforming focus the signal towards devices rather than radiating it evenly into the walls, and 3×3 MU-MIMO streams to several devices simultaneously. A 1.2GHz processor keeps pace with the connection count, which is what stops a router stuttering when a dozen devices are awake at once. Wired, there is 1 Gigabit WAN port and 4 Gigabit LAN ports. WPA3 security, access control, parental controls and a guest network are all included, and the unit runs either as a router or as an Access Point behind an existing one. It comes with a 1 Year warranty. OneMesh is the practical advantage here: rather than replacing the router when a far corner of the flat stays weak, you add a compatible TP-Link extender and the whole home keeps one network name, with devices handing over as you walk between rooms. It suits a roughly 3-bedroom home, or an office floor with a wired desk or two, where phones, laptops, a smart TV and a console are all competing for the same air at 9 in the evening.
