A4Tech OP-330 USB Optical Wired Mouse

The A4Tech OP-330 is a wired USB optical mouse for everyday desk work: browsing, documents, spreadsheets and email. The shell is compact and symmetric, so it sits the same way under either hand, and it needs nothing more than a free USB port to start working. The optical sensor tracks at 1200 DPI, a setting tuned for ordinary screen work rather than gaming, and it holds a steady line across a mouse mat or a bare desk. There are 3 buttons plus A4Tech's 4-Way Wheel, which scrolls sideways as well as up and down and pays for itself the first time you work across a wide spreadsheet or a long web page. Bundled software adds 8-in-One gesture and hotkey commands for people who want shortcuts on the mouse itself. The buttons are rated for 5 million clicks, the cable runs to roughly 150cm, and the body measures 120 x 61 x 37mm at about 85g with the cable attached, in black. It is the sort of mouse bought in quantity: office fleets, a replacement for a unit that has finally worn out, a spare kept in the drawer, or the pointing device for a home desktop that only needs to work. The light weight and small footprint suit a crowded desk, the long cable reaches a tower on the floor without strain, and it carries a 1 year warranty.
