UGREEN CM513 VGA Male to HDMI Female Converter with Audio, USB-C Powered (#50945)

The UGREEN CM513 is a VGA-to-HDMI converter that lets a computer, laptop or projector with only a VGA output connect to a modern HDMI monitor or television. It takes the analogue VGA picture together with a separate stereo audio feed and combines them into a single HDMI signal, so one cable carries both to the screen. Conversion runs one way only, VGA male in to HDMI female out, and supports Full HD output at up to 1080P@60Hz. Audio comes in through a 3.5mm stereo port and is converted at 24-bit sampling with 32, 44.1 and 48kHz rates, keeping sound in step with the picture. The converter draws its power over USB-C at 5V/1A, and a 1m USB-C power cable and a 1m 3.5mm audio cable are supplied with it. The housing measures 45.5 x 36 x 10mm, small enough to sit behind a monitor or tuck into a projector bag. It is driver-free and hot-swappable, with nothing to configure: connect it, power it, and the display picks up the signal. That suits classrooms and offices where VGA desktops are still in daily service, meeting rooms where the projector has moved on to HDMI but the laptop has not, and home setups built around a good second-hand monitor. A one-year brand warranty is included.
