The full spec sheet
The TP-Link TL-WR841N is an entry-level single-band wireless router for straightforward home and small-office internet — one broadband line shared across phones, a laptop and a smart TV in a flat, a hostel room or a shop. It is the long-running N300 workhorse of the TP-Link range, and the current hardware revision is V14. It broadcasts on 2.4GHz only, at up to 300 Mbps on the IEEE 802.11n/b/g standard (Wi-Fi 4), through 2 fixed external antennas. Wired connections run to 1 WAN and 4 LAN ports, all 10/100 Fast Ethernet. The hardware is deliberately plain: a single-core CPU, no 5GHz band and no MU-MIMO, which is what keeps it simple and predictable to live with. Beyond ordinary router duty it can be switched to Access Point, Range Extender or WISP Client mode. It fits where the job is modest and well defined: a single-room setup, a hostel or mess connection, a shop counter that needs Wi-Fi for a billing app and a couple of phones, or a second unit repurposed as a range extender to push signal into the back room of an existing network. Setup is quick, the interface is familiar to anyone who has configured a router in Bangladesh before, and there is very little to go wrong. It carries a one year limited warranty.
