The full spec sheet
The TP-Link Archer C24 is a dual-band Wi-Fi router for small homes and offices, adding a 5GHz band to a setup that has been limping along on 2.4GHz alone. It is an AC750-class router: 300 Mbps on 2.4GHz for range and older devices, and 433 Mbps on 5GHz for the shorter, cleaner hops that streaming and video calls prefer, following IEEE 802.11ac/n/a and 802.11n/b/g respectively. 4 fixed external antennas handle coverage. The wired side uses 1 WAN and 4 LAN ports running at 10/100 Mbps rather than Gigabit, so it matches a standard broadband line rather than a high-speed fibre LAN — worth knowing if you plan to move large files between wired machines. IPTV support, a guest network and parental controls are built in, and the unit can be set to work as an Access Point or a Range Extender instead of a router. It comes with a 1 year limited warranty. This suits a one or two bedroom flat, a hostel room or a shop counter where a handful of devices need to get online reliably and nobody is pushing heavy traffic across the wired ports. The Range Extender mode gives it a second life later: when you eventually upgrade the main router, this one can move to the far end of the flat to fill a dead spot rather than end up in a drawer.
