The full spec sheet
The TP-Link Archer AX53 is an AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router for homes that have outgrown an older Wi-Fi 5 unit, putting more wireless capacity, full Gigabit wiring and current security standards in one box. The 5GHz band carries up to 2402 Mbps and the 2.4GHz band up to 574 Mbps, a substantial step up from AC-class hardware, and 4 fixed high-gain external antennas with beamforming push that signal towards the rooms where it is needed. OFDMA and MU-MIMO let the router handle many devices in parallel, so phones, laptops, a smart TV and a shelf of smart-home gadgets do not queue behind one another, while Target Wake Time lets those battery-powered gadgets sleep between transmissions. Wired, there is 1 Gigabit WAN port and 4 Gigabit LAN ports. WPA3 and TP-Link HomeShield handle security, and OneMesh and EasyMesh compatibility means you can add a matching extender later instead of replacing the router. It carries a 1 year brand warranty. Coverage is rated at roughly 2,500 sq ft, about a 3-bedroom home, which in practice means a decent-sized flat with the router placed centrally rather than tucked behind a television in a corner. It is a good fit for a household on a fibre plan where several people are online at once, and for a small office where a wired desktop or two needs the full line speed while everybody else works over Wi-Fi.
