- Material: soft TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), transparent/clear
- Design: unprinted (no key-legend printing) — this is what lets one physical mold work across US and UK keyboard layouts, since it doesn't show characters; fit is instead determined by the physical key-well shape of the specific MacBook gene
- Compatible: MacBook Air 13" (2011-2020, M1), MacBook Pro 13" (A1706/A2289/A2338), 15" (A1707), 16" (A2141)
- Ultra-thin 1:1 mould fit, dustproof, waterproof and anti-scratch
The full spec sheet
This WiWU keyboard protector is a thin, clear TPU membrane that lays over a MacBook keyboard to keep dust, crumbs and spills out of the key wells while you carry on typing. The material is soft thermoplastic polyurethane, transparent and unprinted, so the key legends underneath stay fully visible and nothing wears off the cover itself with use. It is moulded to sit down against the key shapes, thin enough that typing feel and key travel are barely altered, and it resists scratches and everyday grime. Because it is a removable membrane rather than an adhesive film, you can lift it out, rinse or wipe it clean, dry it and put it straight back. Fit is model-specific. The cover is moulded to the key-well shape of a particular MacBook Air or MacBook Pro generation and screen size, so one made for a different model will not sit correctly, and it is worth checking your MacBook's model identifier before ordering. For a machine that gets used away from a clean desk, on a campus table, a coffee shop counter or a shared office in a dusty season, it is an inexpensive barrier between a spilled cup of tea and a keyboard repair.
