The Vention AACBL is a 10 metre high-speed HDMI cable, built for the runs an ordinary cable cannot reach: a ceiling projector, a wall-mounted display at the far end of a conference room, or a signage screen fed from a cupboard. It is an HDMI 2.0 cable supporting 4K@60Hz at 3840×2160, along with 1080p Full HD and 3D. The conductor is 30AWG copper-clad steel, and the double-layer shielding of aluminium foil and metal braid is what keeps the picture stable at this length, where interference and signal loss usually show up first. The male-to-male connectors are 24K gold-plated against oxidation, and the round PVC jacket is 5.0mm across, slim enough to pass through a conduit or along a ceiling trunk.
