UGREEN NW134 Cat 8 U/FTP (Shielded) Ethernet Cable – 2M

The UGREEN NW134 is a Cat 8 shielded Ethernet patch cable, 2 metres long, made for short high-speed runs between multi-gig switches, NAS boxes, servers, workstations and consoles. It is rated for speeds up to 40 Gbps across 2000 MHz of bandwidth, far beyond what standard Gigabit gear draws and ample headroom for a multi-gig network. The construction is U/FTP: each twisted pair is wrapped in foil with an overall screen around the bundle, which keeps interference out on a short run that sits beside power leads and humming equipment. The conductor core is 30 AWG pure copper, the RJ45 connectors are gold-plated and the jacket is nylon-braided to survive repeated coiling and uncoiling. It carries a 1 year warranty. This is the cable for a rack or a desk where two pieces of fast equipment sit close together and the link needs to be clean rather than merely present. The braided jacket and full shielding also stand up better to being dragged behind furniture, and to humid rooms, than a thin unshielded lead does.
