The UGREEN NW122 is a Cat6A UTP Ethernet patch cable, 2 metres long, for short runs between a router, switch, NAS, desktop PC, console or smart TV. The round jacket is ultra-slim, so it bends easily behind furniture and slots into a crowded cable tray without adding bulk. It is rated for speeds up to 10Gbps across 500MHz of bandwidth, well beyond what ordinary broadband asks of a cable and enough headroom for moving large files across a local network. The conductors are 32AWG pure bare copper for low signal loss, the RJ45 connectors are 24K gold-plated for corrosion resistance and stable contact, and the soft OD2.8mm PVC jacket is rated for more than 10,000 bend cycles. It stays backwards compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e equipment and carries a 1 year brand warranty. Two metres is the practical length for a desk where the router or switch already sits nearby, and the slim black cord follows a desk edge instead of coiling in the way. Pure copper and gold plating matter in a humid climate, where cheaper cables corrode at the contacts and start dropping the link.
