The HOCO MMJ-01 Freestyle is a wireless Bluetooth neckband earphone for listeners who would rather not think about charging. It rests around the neck, keeps the earbuds within reach between calls, and pairs quickly with a phone, tablet or laptop for music, meetings and long commutes. Inside sits an 800mAh cell rated for up to 200 hours of talk and music time, with a full charge taking about 2 hours. The connection runs over Bluetooth 5.3 on a JL7006 chipset with a 10m wireless range, and 14.2mm dynamic drivers give the low end enough weight for everyday listening. A TF and microSD slot takes cards up to 64GB and plays audio on its own, so the neckband still works when your phone is out of charge or left behind. The band itself weighs around 29g. That combination suits students, riders and office users who charge once and then forget about it for days. Card playback earns its place during load-shedding, when whatever charge your phone has left is better spent elsewhere, and the neckband shape keeps the earbuds from disappearing into the bottom of a bag. Slip them off between calls and they simply rest on your collar.
