DeepCool AK400 CPU Air Cooler

The DeepCool AK400 is a single-tower air cooler for a desktop processor, the straightforward replacement for the small cooler that comes in a retail CPU box. It keeps a mid-range chip at sensible temperatures without the noise, the pump or the maintenance of a liquid loop. The tower stands 155 mm tall, which clears the side panel of most mid-tower cases, and it is rated for processors drawing up to 180 W. A single 120 mm PWM fan moves the air, ramping with load rather than running flat out, so the machine stays quiet at idle and through light work. Mounting hardware covers LGA1700, AM5 and AM4 sockets, so it fits current Intel and AMD boards as well as recent previous-generation ones. DeepCool covers the AK400 with a 3 year warranty. It suits a gaming or work desktop built around a mid-range processor, and it is the sane choice for a machine that runs long hours in a warm room: there is no pump to fail and no coolant to think about over the years, just a fan and a fin stack. Check the cooler clearance in your case before ordering, since 155 mm is the figure the case specification has to clear.
