ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER OC 12GB

The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER OC is a 12 GB graphics card aimed squarely at 1440p gaming at high refresh rates. It is the card most people building a serious gaming PC end up wanting: fast enough to drive a high-refresh 1440p monitor properly, without the power draw and physical bulk of the tier above it. 12 GB of GDDR6X memory sits on a PCIe 4.0 x16 bus, with a 220 W board power rating and a single 16-pin power connector, and an adapter is included so an existing power supply can drive it. Display outputs are 1 x HDMI 2.1 and 3 x DP 1.4a, enough for a high-refresh main monitor plus secondary screens for work. The card measures 267 mm long. That length is the one thing to settle before you commit: measure the clearance in your case from the rear bracket to the drive cage or front fans and confirm it takes 267 mm, and make sure the power supply has headroom for a 220 W card on top of the rest of the system. Past those two checks it is a straightforward upgrade for 1440p gaming, video editing and anything else that leans on the GPU, and it comes with 3 years of warranty.
