The full spec sheet
This is a pair of Sony-branded AA alkaline pencil batteries, supplied in a sealed blister pack of 2 cells for the everyday devices that still run on disposable power: remote controls, wall clocks, torches, wireless mice, radios and children's toys. Each cell is a standard 1.5V alkaline primary built on zinc and manganese dioxide chemistry, and carries the LR6 and AM3 designations alongside the familiar AA size, so it drops into any device that lists any of those three. Construction is mercury-free with a leak-resistant seal, which matters in a drawer of gear that only gets used now and then, and unused cells hold their charge for around 8 years. These are disposable primary cells and are not rechargeable, so never put them into a battery charger. AA is the size most households get through fastest, and keeping a spare pair to hand saves a trip out when a remote dies mid-evening or a torch fails during load-shedding. They suit low and moderate drain work best: clocks, remotes, torches, kitchen scales, calculators and toys around the house, office or hostel room. For a high-drain device you feed constantly, such as a mouse in daily use, a rechargeable cell is the better fit, but for the long, slow jobs an alkaline pair like this is the simpler answer.
