Intel Core i5-13400 Processor

The Intel Core i5-13400 is a mainstream desktop processor for LGA1700 motherboards, aimed at the machine that has to do a bit of everything: office work, study, browsing, light editing and gaming alongside a graphics card. Integrated graphics are built in, so the system boots and works before a card is bought. It carries 10 cores in a hybrid arrangement, 6 performance cores and 4 efficient ones, for 16 threads in total, running from a 2.5 GHz base to 4.6 GHz on boost. It drops into LGA1700 and supports either DDR5-4800 or DDR4-3200, which lets a build reuse memory already on hand or move up to newer kit. Turbo power is 148 W, graphics are Intel UHD 730, and a Laminar RM1 cooler is included in the box, so nothing further is needed to switch the machine on. Away from the overclocking K parts, this chip runs quieter and cooler, which counts for a lot in a warm room and in a case that is not packed with fans.
