The full spec sheet
This is the standard IEC C13 mains lead, the kettle-plug cord that carries power from the wall socket to a desktop PC power supply, a monitor, a printer or a UPS. It is the cable every desk depends on and the one that always goes missing when a machine is moved. One end is an IEC 60320 C13 female connector and the other a 3-pin AC mains plug, joined by 1.5m of 3-core copper in a black PVC jacket. It is rated for 250V AC at 10A, which covers a desktop power supply, an LED or LCD monitor, an office printer, a UPS and most other equipment with a C13 input socket. Keep one aside for a new build, a second monitor or a UPS that arrived without a lead, and another for the day a cord ends up trapped behind a desk after a rearrangement. The 1.5m length reaches from a floor-standing tower or a skirting socket up to the desk without leaving a coil of slack to trip over, and the plain black jacket disappears into a cable tray. It is also the right replacement when an old lead has gone brittle, discoloured at the plug or loose in the socket, which is worth checking on any machine that has spent years in a humid room.
